The Chocolate Cinema
The chocolate cinema shows a film which traces the life of a cocoa bean from growth to cultivation through to it's role in chocolate as we know it.
This film is educational and encourages all ages to understand chocolate on a different level. Essentially this hightens overall enjoyment, so it's a win-win situation!
You also see how the pods are harvested and the beans are dried and fermented before being processed into the world's favourite food. The process is an interesting one and you may be suprised at the time and effort that goes into each and every mouthwatering mouthfull of the glorious delight we know as chocolate.
It's a 25 minute journey back into the history of the cocoa bean and it's harvesting, fermenting and roasting. It may interest you to know that cocoa was first used for flavouring savoury foods and only fairly recently sweetened to make confectionery. I'm sure we are al glad of that discovery!
The Hobo Gallery
A walk past the stocks takes you to the Old Corn Loft which houses the Hobo Gallery and Chocolate Cinema.

The Gallery is collection of lifelike figures with attitude ... and dressed to kill! We have nick named them the Bobl Bach Llanboidy translated fom Welsh means Llanboidy Little People. It is quite amazing how each one reminds you of someone you know!
The Chocolate Museum
Having learnt all about the history of chocolate come and take a journey through our history here at Pembertons. Take a walk though the Museum and see everything from Granny Pembertons Origional cook book through to chocolate bars from all accross the world.
There is also some educational fun to be had, learn how many cocoa beans high you are or even how good you are at chocolate noughts and crosses.
Fudge Viewing Area
If your lucky you may get to see our experienced staff here at Pembertons turning their hands to another craft. If not you can still come and view the fudgery, watch a film on how it's made and see all our own old fashioned fudge machinery and old fashioned sweet machines. It's all very Charming here at Pembertons!
The Chocolate Fountain
During our peak seasons come and indulge in a real chocolatey treat! We have a vast selection of kebabs, marshmallows, fudge, jelly babies, chocolate pots - Rocky roads, strawberries, Liquorice all sorts, jelly sweets, Cookies and much more all smothered in our liquid chocolate fresh from the fountain! Additionally you can add your own topping from Grated chocolate, sugar strands to nuts! We also have locally made ice cream if you need a little break from chocolate!
Have a go area
When you buy your tour tickets we throw in an extra something special. A token for our 'have a go' area! This enables you to try out those techniques we teach you during the tour, there are lots of toppings so you can really get your creative juices flowing.. just before you pop your masterpiece into your mouth and experience your genius on a whole new level!
Fudge shop and Delicatessen
During our peak season you can really come and indulge your senses. We have a huge collection of fudge rounds. Just like cheeses you can choose how much you want of each! We have flavours from, Lemon cheesecake, apple crumble, dandylion and burdock, peanut butter, Chilli and lime or even cookies and cream. If your taste buds are drawn to mor subtle flavours we can also indulge you with a 'gentler' selection rangeing from strawberries and cream, chocolate swirl, chocolate orange, vanilla or even plain butter and cream if that is what your heart desires! You won't quite believe the selection untill you see it with your own eyes!
We make all the fudge here at the farm with real cream and butter, You won't be dissapointed!
